Interests & Hobbies Meeting and interacting with people of diverse interests and backgrounds. Saving and resorting historical and native areas for future generations. Finding new resources that will help and inspire children in science and mathematics. International travel to experience new people and cultures and exploring new environments. Organize and write grants to allow teachers to study and investigate all 10 environmental and geological regions of Texas such as the Hill Country, Piney Woods, Coastal Plains, and the Trans-Pecos (West Texas) regions. The Teachers experience 20 days in the field. Currently, 2008 we will sponsor our 5th annual group of approximately 20 teachers from area school districts.
