Interests & Hobbies My personal mission is to live my life joyfully, abundantly, and with purpose, and to use my skills, talents, words, and actions to empower others to do the same.  My core values are authenticity, compassion, empowerment, equality, and philanthropy.  My strengths are arranging, communicating, connecting, inclusiveness, and strategic thinking.  My 30+ year nonprofit professional background encompasses the areas of program and organizational management/leadership, program/curriculum/resource development, public awareness and community relations, and coalition-building. I enjoy visual and performing arts, community festivals and other events/activities, and a bit of nature every now and then. I'm an animal-lover. I love most kinds of music and dancing (including Country-Western and Tejano) and I indulge in every Jazz, R&B, or Soul music event/activity I can find. I enjoy diversity in my friendships and social/civic/professional networks and I am happiest when I am an integral part of my community.
